Are You A Survivor Of Intimate Partner Violence Or Sexual Assault?
Would you be willing to share your story?
Researchers in the Department of Counseling and Educational Development at UNC-Greensboro are conducting a study to learn about the experiences of survivors of past adulthood intimate partner violence (IPV) and/or sexual assault. This study will focus on the factors that impact the decision to report IPV and sexual assault as well as survivors’ experiences with reporting.
We are seeking participants who:
Are at least 21 years of age
Currently reside in Guilford County, NC
Are survivors of IPV or sexual assault
Have been out of any abusive relationship for at least one year
Eligible volunteers will be asked to complete an anonymous online questionnaire that will take approximately 20 minutes. Upon completion of the survey, volunteers will be eligible to win a $50 Target gift card. Through this research study, we hope to learn how to better serve the needs of survivors of IPV and sexual assault.
