Help inform future research and mental health professionals on the possible stigma associated with intimate partner violence (including physical, sexual, and/or emotional/psychological abuse) by participating in our ongoing research study investigating the impact stigma that survivors face .
We are seeking participants who (a) are at least 21 years of age, (b) were formerly abused by an intimate relationship partner (e.g., a boyfriend/girlfriend, life partner, spouse), (c) have been out of any abusive relationship for at least two years, and (d) speak English.
Participants will be asked to complete a 20 minute on-line survey about their experiences related to stigma and relationship abuse. To thank participants for their time, participants who complete the survey will be eligible to enter into a drawing for one of two $50 store gift cards.

In August, we are focusing on the messages that the survivors in our studies wanted to send to other survivors and people who are currently experiencing intimate partner violence victimization. Our first message today is about not giving up hope.
